Sportpoint teams up with easycash Loyalty Solutions for customer card program

German payments services provider easycash Loyalty Solutions, an Ingenico company, has created a new customer card program for sporting goods retailer Sportpoint.

A special feature of the new Go for Sport card is the fact that alongside its functions as a bonus and payment card, it will soon also boast multi-channel components as part of the loyalty approach developed by easycash.

easycash Loyalty is responsible for processing the companys customer card transactions and also operates its service centre. Every time they use their card, Sportpoint customers receive bonus points for the purchase made. The cards integrated prepaid function means that they can then use their bonus points to pay for purchases in Sportpoint stores. The Go for Sport card also features an additional payment function based on a prepaid account. Multi-channel functions will then be added to the program in its next stage of development, with the incorporation of mobile technologies providing new functions for both Sportpoint and its customers.

In recent news, easycash has entered an agreement with German retail cooperative coop eG to provide the latter with a gift card solution.
