TSYS to roll out credit card program for US community financial institutions

TSYS has revealed plans to provide regional and community financial institutions across the US with credit card programs via a new division, TSYS Program Solutions.

The unit will offer program development, implementation and ongoing delivery for smaller banks and credit unions interested in entering or re-entering the credit card market. The company’s offering includes profitability analysis, portfolio management and campaign as well as marketing support in combination with capabilities in data processing, card and statement production, customer care, analytics and loyalty.

The unit will be led by Wayne Johnson, who held senior positions at First Data, Providian Financial, Visa USA and First Interstate Bancard; Andrew Mathieson, the former chief executive officer and founder of Fintura Corporation; Patrick Fox, who collaborated with Metris Companies, Citibank and Bank of America; Fred J. Grigsby III, the former chief marketing officer at Fintura and George Whitley who most recently served as executive vice president within the same company.
