Tuesday 2 October 2012 10:29 CET | News

Voucher-based prepaid payment services provider Ukash has further expanded into the UK gift card market by rolling out the Ukash Gift Card Shop, thus allowing customers to buy gift cards from the UK retailers.

Ukash will offer its own branded gift card shop, in partnership with gift card provider SVM Europe. As a result, customers will be able to use Ukash to purchase gift cards and certificates from a range of high street and online retailers, with the capacity to reload cards with more Ukash. The Ukash Gift Card Shop provides cards and certificates in various denominations from £10 to £200, dependent on the individual retailer.

Ukash allows people worldwide to use cash electronically and is available at 420,000 retail locations in over 57 countries across 6 continents. The company provides multicurrency capability in 17 transaction currencies and transactional reporting.
