The new card was designed to provide travel privileges that are typically not available with commercial credit cards, according to the two companies. The annual membership fee for the UOB Regal Business Metal Card is SGD 680, and the card offers business executives unlimited access to airport lounges and access to 60 golf clubs worldwide.
According to UOB, the number of SMEs using its commercial credit cards has increased by more than 65% over the last five years, and most customers use these in the region for travel and business entertainment.
Amongst other benefits, card members will receive a one-year Accor Plus Membership and Accor Hotels Asia-Pacific loyalty programme at more than 800 hotels and 1,100 restaurants. According to the two companies, this provides dining discounts of up to 50%.
