The online gift card EasyV-Gift Card is a fully hosted and managed service which is set to allow merchants to integrate a customer acquisition program within their retail environment.
The EasyV-GiftCard is aimed at both single and multi-chain retail environments. Therefore, it can be used at any existing electronic point-of-sale (ePOS) system which is integrated with the YESpay’s Chip-and-PIN payment service or independently via a PC payment application (YESpos).
The retailers are able to issue, load and accept gift card payments via screen prompts. The YESpay’s PCI DSS approved Emboss Bureau Service authorizes the online transaction against the gift card holder account checking the availability of funds and settled with the merchant gift card database.
YESpay enables merchants to leverage their Gift Card scheme via the Gift Card Merchant website. The Gift Card Merchant site provides data on the number of cards issued, the balance available on each card, downloadable transaction reports and the functionality of loading money into a card or blocking a Gift Card. To perform transactions including activation, loading, balance enquiry and fund transfer to another card via the website, the cardholders have to register.
To be able to use the EasyV-Gift Card, merchants have to upgrade their current POS service, but no additional software or hardware installation is required. EasyV-Gift Cards are processed as normal credit/debit card transactions.
