The GlobalPlatform Javacards will combine a national ID application conforming to the ICAO MRTD standard, a PKI-based authentication application and a prepaid payment application based on international card association and/or local scheme standards.
Aconite’s Affina Enterprise provides a solution for the maintenance of a card population combined which enables post issuance updates to install, delete or upgrade applications remotely on the cards and to activate applications after installation. Affina Enterprise will manage the cardbase through a network of remote devices, maintaining details of the applications installed on each card, the data personalised into each application and changes to the applications and data over the card’s lifecycle. Aconite Affina Enterprise will also manage end-of-life events for the cards, maintaining revocation and block list details.
