Badosoft, a group of software and hardware providers, has launched Privacy Optimizer to protect internet users from spies and data thieves.

The software allows users to protect files and folders, delete files and offers options for storing passwords and credit card details, while preventing visits of websites or the installation of software with known privacy issues.

Privacy Optimizer also comprises a Tools Suite, providing 10 features to help users protect their personal information and use the internet in a safe manner. These tools enable each individual user to choose optimal privacy settings, they protect information such as credit card numbers and users can even become anonymous on the internet by hiding their IP addresses and using the integrated anonymous web browser.

The chief developer of Badosoft has mentioned that data theft has been around for decades and will always be a part of the internet age. Recent reports indicate that cybercrime increases at a rate of 20 percent per year, but according to the press spokesman of Badosoft, law-abiding internet users can avoid falling into this trap of identity or data theft.
