Under the terms of the deal, iovation will enable Besedo’s clients to identify the fraudulent use of accounts via the former`s ReputationManager 360 through checks including the device’s history, associations with other accounts and devices, geolocation rules, device anomalies and worldwide velocity indicators. The ReputationManager 360 service is designed to protect online businesses through the identification of unique devices and assessment of transaction risks. Risk assessments are performed without collecting personally identifiable information (PII).
Besedo is set to extend iovation’s fraud and abuse prevention services to clients within online classifieds, auctions, social networks, dating sites and igaming.
