BNI deploys Indriya Ease authentication system

Indonesian financial institution PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) has deployed Indriya Ease, a multifactor authentication system (MFA) for automated password reset application powered by security services provider Nuance VocalPassword.

The web portal application was developed and implemented by multi-factor authentication services provider Indriya Innovations using Nuances VocalPassword biometrics engine and allows BNI’s IT help desk to offer a method to reset passwords. Previously, BNIs IT help desk only allowed strong passwords with a combination of alphabets, numbers and special characters. As a result, BNI users have often forgotten their passwords. Thus, the IT help desk received numerous requests per month and the manual verification of the staffs identity required a lot of work.

Nuances VocalPassword is a voice biometric system which verifies a speakers identity based on voice samples acquired during interaction with the voice, web or mobile applications.
