Central Bank of Bangladesh releases online dashboard to monitor fraud

Financial institution the Central Bank of Bangladesh has released an online dashboard which allows its stakeholders to monitor all foreign exchange transactions as part of its efforts to increase transparency, curb incidents of fraud and other financial irregularities in the banking sector.

The dashboard will serve as a graphical representation that works like a control Panel. Following the launch, the Central Bank and its scheduled banks can now go online to access data on outstanding inland documentary bills and the bills of acceptance given by various bank branches.

The Central Bank has also revealed plans to launch an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) which will serve as the Central Bank’s central data warehouse.
