Tuesday 28 February 2012 00:34 CET | News

eMudhra Consumer Services, an Indian consumer technology service provider, has entered a strategic alliance with Watchdata Technologies, a provider of digital transaction services, to provide banks from India and Mauritius with the “Sign What You See” key (SWYS) service for online banking activities.

The SWYS Key is an authentication technique which is compliant with the standards prescribed by the Reserve Bank of India. SWYS Key displays the key data in a separate token and enables users to validate the key data and further digitally sign the transaction to prevent fraudulent attacks. The entire solution suite will consist of a Watchdata’s WatchKEY OCL token, an authentication solution and a Digital Signature Certificate.

eMudhra Consumer Services was launched in 2008 and provides services to retail consumers, corporates and financial institutions. eMudhras consumer offerings include MyMoney, MyLoan, MyInsurance, MyAddress, eM-Pay, SecMsg, besides eMudhra Digital Signature Certificates and other PKI-based solutions.
