Under the terms of the deal, MTXEPS has implemented the ServerEPS Encryption payment processing service. MTXEPS ServerEPS Encryption Solution is set to validate the retailers’ payment security. The payment service encrypts track data at the card swipe and maintains it through its delivery to Fifth Third Processing Solutions. Additionally, the application assists the retailer with PCI compliance and security against electronic intrusions via Point-to-Point Encryption and Tokenization.
The ServerEPS encryption, a security component of the application since 2008, is set to support card data encryption at the POS PIN pad and to provide a single source for card data security so that the card is not returned to the store.
