ForgeRock and FireEye team up to detect cyber-attacks

ForgeRock, an open platform provider of Identity Relationship Management (IRM) solutions has teamed up with FireEye to provide cyber security.

Through this joint effort, data from the ForgeRock Identity Platform is integrated into FireEye TAP, a cloud-based security incident detection and response management platform. When combined with ForgeRock’s intelligence of end-users, FireEye TAP is designed to allow organisations to make security decisions based on location, IP address, time, known device and other context, and provide a picture of when and how advanced attackers are targeting an organisation.

According to a study published in April 2014 by Experian and the Ponemon Institute, more than half of the consumers surveyed were victims of data breaches in 2013, as compared to 25% in 2012. 62% of respondents said they received two data-breach notifications from credit card or retail companies, involving separate incidents.

ForgeRock, a global identity relationship management vendor, is building secure relationships across the modern web. Focused on using online identities to grow revenue, extend reach, and launch new business models, Forge Rock’s Open Identity Stack powers solutions for many of the worlds companies and government organizations.

The FireEye Threat Prevention Platform provides dynamic threat protection without the use of signatures to protect an organisation across the primary threat vectors and across the different stages of an attack life cycle.
