Frontier Communications, a US-based wireline internet data access, entertainment services provider, has introduced the Frontier Secure Identity Protection, an identity theft and fraud protection service provided in collaboration with Kroll Advisory Solutions, a global security services provider.

The newly launched system features four main capabilities including:
• Identity theft restoration and recovery which offers assistance to help victims get back to pre-identity theft status, including consumer advocacy, fraud assessment and in-depth support until resolution of all issues;
• Consultation, including assistance before, during and after potential identity theft situations, along with credit information analysis and investigation services;
• Bureau credit monitoring, including alerts which enable consumers to detect potential fraudulent activity;
• Routine identity and privacy scans, for noncredit information such as Social Security number use, phone number and mail/email addresses.

In addition to Identity Protection, Frontier Secure offers a portfolio of products and services for protecting people’s digital life, including internet security, backup and file sharing. In 2011, almost 12 million US citizens have become victims of identity theft.
