US-based community bank Guaranty Bank and Trust Company has teamed up portable computing services provider IronKey to provide its business customers with the IronKey Trusted Access service which offers protection against identity theft, payments fraud and online banking account takeover.

Under the terms of the deal, Guaranty Bank is able to protect its online business banking customers using IronKey Trusted Access which enables them to prevent financial malware. Guaranty Bank will deliver Trusted Access on a portable USB device. When inserted into a PC, it launches a read-only web browser that works to protect against malware hidden in the client’s computer. The browser opens on Guaranty Bank’s website and only works with the encrypted IronKey Trusted Network.

IronKeys Trusted Access application offers protection against various attacks, including man-in-browser attack, keylogging, network monitoring and DNS tampering. In recent news, US electronic commerce and payment processing company First Data has selected IronKey to provide its clients with online banking fraud prevention.
