Hoyos Labs to introduce four-finger smartphone solution

Wednesday 14 October 2015 00:58 CET | News

Hoyos Labs has revealed plans to launch its new biometric four-finger (4F) smartphone technology.

Hoyos Labs’ biometric 4F captures four fingerprints on a smartphone simultaneously, providing a high level of security and touchless four-finger acquisition with 150 degrees of freedom.

The solution is designed to address the difficulty of capturing biometrics, such as facial recognition, which can fail with low lighting conditions. 4F is able to work in any environment by using the smartphone’s flash as its light source with no external hardware required.
