InCard Technologies reveals security card token

Tuesday 20 April 2010 10:57 CET | News

US-based e-identity technology developer InCard Technologies has launched a card token authentication product.

The InCard ICard can be used with either a web or software interface to provide one-time passcode (OTP) security in payment or ID card format. The ICard can be branded by the issuing institution, allows customer authentication calls to financial institutions and can be combined with a standard payment or ID card.

In addition, the ICard enables employee-to-employee authentication within large firms, and OTP authentication for online banking, trading, and data systems access. The cards can be configured to feature RFID for physical access, an EMV chip as well as payment capabilities.

InCard Technologies has already made the ICard available to the North American financial institutions and is planning a European rollout of an EMUE card application in Q3 2010.
