US fraud-fighting technology developer Kount has inked a contract with TeleSign, a provider of internet fraud prevention and intelligent authentication.

As part of the agreement, Kount Complete platform will integrate with TeleSign’s phone data and authentication products, enabling merchants to access multiple fraud signals within a single view.

The integration of TeleSign’s identity and fraud-prevention suite upgrades Kount’s current offering and provides a functional risk assessment tool in one solution. Derived from information already collected from the end user such as a phone number, Kount Complete is now able to return contact details, reachability status and phone type, allowing merchants to assess the risk of a transaction.

TeleSign has executed more than 1 billion authentication and verification transactions in more than 200 countries and over 50 languages. Kount delivers fraud and risk management services for companies working in card-not-present environments enabling them to prevent and fight fraud/risk operations. The companys proprietary technology platform includes artificial intelligence fraud detection methods that provide assessments for card-not-present transactions, including mobile payments.
