MoneYou, a subsidiary of financial services provider ABN AMRO, has selected MACH, the Luxembourg-based provider of hub-based mobile communication services, to provide second factor authentication via mobile (mTAN) for its online banking customers in Germany through the latter’s A2P messaging platform.

Via MACH’s A2P messaging platform, MoneYou will be able to send codes (mTAN) to its clients’ mobile phones in order to verify their identity. By providing a single point of connection to all the operators in Germany, MACH delivers MoneYou with the coverage it needs to service its entire customer base.

MACH provides various SS7 and direct IP connections covering more than 750 operators in over 200 countries worldwide through a single point of connection. MACH’s mobile messaging services are utilized by brands including KLM and Microsoft.

Founded in the Netherlands in 2001, MoneYou offers savings products to its customers. Since 2011, MoneYou has also started to offer overnight and fixed deposit accounts.
