Thursday 27 October 2011 13:56 CET | News

Subuno, the US-based provider of fraud detection services for online merchants, and MaxMind, an IP geolocation and online fraud detection services provider, have entered a partnership to integrate MaxMind’s geolocation and IP risk scoring services into Subunos fraud screening SaaS platform.

As part of the agreement, Subuno will integrate various MaxMind services, including GeoIP Country Web Service and minFraud fraud detection, into Subuno’s fraud screening SaaS platform. Subuno’s clients will be able to build and implement screening rules for MaxMind’s transaction risk score and IP geolocation data without having to do any additional integration or manage a separate contract with MaxMind.

Within Subunos platform, merchants will also have the ability to leverage MaxMinds data for each transaction or on-demand. In addition, MaxMinds minFraud Network, which consists of thousands of merchants worldwide, allows merchants to protect each other by indirectly sharing non-personally identifiable risk factors.

MaxMind GeoIP provides the geographical location of internet visitors enabling online businesses to target content, re-direct online traffic, analyse site logs, manage digital rights and detect fraud.

In recent news, Subuno has introduced its subscription based fraud screening SaaS platform to enable small and medium size merchants to fight online credit card fraud.
