TeleSign launches mobile app for internet security

Friday 22 February 2013 09:14 CET | News

TeleSign, a provider of internet fraud prevention and intelligent authentication, has revealed plans to launch a two-factor authentication mobile application, dubbed TeleSign Authenticator.

The newly released technology delivers authentication via push notification or by leveraging a cryptographic key through a soft token. The application is also available to clients and partners as a white labeled option ready for branding and deployment to users of any participating service.

TeleSign Authenticator can serve as a stand-alone application for an individual service or can aggregate two-factor authentication functionality into a single application for multiple services or web properties. Users can authenticate into services for multiple providers through a single mobile application.

TeleSign Authenticator is set to be released in Q2 2013. TeleSign Authenticator complements TeleSigns suite of fraud prevention and authentication products, including TeleSign 2FA, TeleSign Verify, and PhoneID.

TeleSign has executed more than 1 billion authentication and verification transactions in more than 200 countries and over 50 languages.
