Three Israeli banks roll out voice biometrics technology powered by PerSay

PerSay, a global provider of biometric speaker verification products, has revealed that three Israel-based financial services providers have deployed its Voice Biometric systems.

Bank HaPoalim, Bank Leumi, and Discount Bank have already made the Voice Biometric applications available to the public. The PerSay applications include PIN reset and PIN-less access to contact centers at Bank Poalim, self-service eBanking password reset and Real-Time Fraudsters Detection at Bank Leumi, and multi-factor authentication for phone based high-risk transactions at Discount Bank.

PerSay’s products incorporate IVR and CTI platforms such as Genesys, Cisco, Avaya, and IBM and are available through a network of global partners, resellers and system integrators, including IBM, Dimention Data, Huawei.

According to a board member from PerSay, the voice biometrics technology is set to become in the near future the main authentication technology used for remote services and applications over the phone, internet, as well as mobile devices.
