Finnish IT services provider Tieto has entered into an agreement with Azerbaijan-based financial services provider PASHA Bank.

Under the terms of the deal, the bank will implement Tieto’s Card Suite Fraud Management solution to upgrade security and stability for its customers by preventing and detecting fraud.

PASHA Bank was founded in 2007 and is focusing mainly on corporate and private banking. The bank has been running on Tieto Card Suite platform since year 2009.

Card Suite Fraud Management identifies and adapts to new types of fraud by implementing new rules and changing existing ones when needed. The rule engine allows organizations to define and tailor rules in more general business language, meaning that no extensive IT knowledge is required. The system also enables organizations to gather statistics and validate fraudulent case scenarios. In addition, Tieto offers an e-commerce fraud prevention solution ensuring cardholder fund protection in the card-not-present environment.

Tieto provides platform and infrastructure solutions such as the Tieto Dynamic SAP Landscape, Tieto Cloud Server, Tieto Productivity Cloud and a multi-lingual service desk.
