XIRING will become the reference supplier for smart card readers used to secure access to information systems. French hospitals will have to install authentication solutions and electronic signatures, which can be based on the CPS V3 card (for the French healthcare professional smart card).
The authentication and hospital workstation access solutions (CPS3, IAS card) which have been selected include:• Witeo: the hands-free card reader in badge holder format;• Diteo: the contact and contactless dual-interface USB card reader;• Liteo: the individual USB reader for contact cards.

Based on readers and terminals dedicated to health cards, these solutions are used by pharmacists, healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, specialists) and healthcare establishments (hospitals, clinics, healthcare centres).
