Allstar deploys e-invoicing solutions from Macro 4

Tuesday 12 November 2013 14:29 CET | News

Allstar, the UK’s fuel card provider, has deployed software solution from global software and services company Macro 4, that will automate the creation of invoices and statements, providing customers with the option to receive them either by e-mail, as web downloads or as printed documents.

Under the terms of the deal, Allstar will receive, through Macro 4 software, XML transaction data from their corporate billing application relating to all individual fuel card payments. Using business rules, the system automatically decides whether the data relates to invoices or statements and composes and builds the final documents.

The Macro 4 software resides on a server in parent company FleetCor’s European data centre.

The company has set a target of migrating over 80% of customers from printed invoices to electronic delivery within the first 12 months.

FleetCor is a global provider of fuel cards and workforce payment products to businesses. FleetCor’s payment programs enable businesses to control employee spending and provide card-accepting merchants with a high volume customer base. FleetCor serves commercial accounts in North America, Latin America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
