Ariba, Ramunia enter agreement for Ariba Commerce Cloud platform

US provider of collaborative business commerce solutions Ariba has signed an agreement with Ramunia, a Malaysian oil and gas offshore structures fabricator and engineering services company.

Under the terms of the deal, Ramunia is expected to implement the Ariba Commerce Cloud, a web-based platform. The Commerce Cloud product suite includes several products, such as Ariba Spend Visibility, Ariba Procure-to-Pay, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contract Management, Ariba Supplier Information and Performance Management services. In addition, Ramunia is expected to implement the Ariba Network and Ariba Discovery services.

The platform includes applications for spend management, collaborative finance management and sales generation management; it also provides access to the Ariba Network, Ariba’s web-based trading community, and to Ariba Exchange, a customer community where companies can network and collaborate with partners and peers.

In a recent development, Sweden-based supplier in the fields of water, transportation and energy Cardo has inked a contract with Ariba implement the Ariba Procure-to-Pay offering to manage suppliers, processes, budgets, approvals and payments on a global basis.
