B2B e-commerce services company GXS has signed a five-year agreement with supply chain services provider to the video games and entertainment industry B2Boost.

Under the deal, B2Boost is set to adopt GXS Managed Services, a portfolio of outsourced B2B e-commerce services that includes mapping, trading partner on-boarding, community management and technical support.

The GXS solution from B2Boost allows European games suppliers and retailers to integrate their enterprise resource planning (ERP), procurement and ordering systems with their B2B transactions. GXS and B2Boost are currently collaborating on managing the day-to-day operations of B2Boosts B2B e-commerce program including mapping, on-boarding and technical support.

B2Boost intends to deliver value-added services such as pan-European e-invoicing solutions, industry dedicated B2B e-commerce portals and field inventory management tools. During the initial stage, B2Boost will migrate its existing internal infrastructure to GXS Managed Services and also will exchange transactions with customers via GXS Trading Grid Messaging Service, GXS Intelligent Web Forms and GXS Trading Grid for Excel with customers and partners throughout Europe.

B2Boost provides transaction services to vendors such as Electronic Arts, Namco Bandai, Ubisoft, Bigben Interactive, Codemasters and Sega, as well as more than 150 retail chains across Europe, including Amazon, Carrefour and Media Market.
