With the acquisition, the Certipost document exchange organization is set to be integrated within the Basware global organisation. The other activities of Certipost related to digital certificates and the Belgian electronic identity card remain within the bpost company.
Baswares e-invoicing services include the transaction of e-invoices, data recognition services for scanned invoices, a printing service, supplier portal as well as supplier and customer activation. The service sends invoices in electronic format from the invoicing solution, transfers the documents to the desired format and transmits them to the buyers invoice processing solution or printing service.
In recent news, Basware has been selected by Huf Hülsbeck & Fürst (Huf), a German company within the automotive industry, for its AP automation and e-invoicing services powered by the Alusta cloud-based platform for Purchase-to-Pay.
