Bottomline rolls out electronic invoicing service over SWIFT network for non-SWIFT members

Monday 22 August 2011 09:38 CET | News

US collaborative payment, invoice and document automation company Bottomline Technologies has received approval from the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) to send and receive electronic invoices as a service provider over the SWIFT network.

This recognition enables new capabilities for Bottomline’s SWIFT Access Service by permitting the transfer of electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) messages across the world’s largest financial messaging network.

By connecting Bottomline’s B2B payments and invoicing network Paymode-X to SWIFT, banks gain the ability to send and receive e-invoices on behalf of any non-SWIFT members that are part of the Paymode-X network.

Bottomline Technologies provides collaborative payment, invoice and document automation services to corporations, financial institutions and banks. The company’s solutions are used to automate and manage processes involving payments, invoicing, global cash management, supply chain finance and transactional documents.
