Bottomline to acquire Albany Software

US cloud-based payment, invoice and banking services provider Bottomline Technologies has received regulatory clearance to acquire Albany Software, a UK-based provider of bacs approved services for payments, direct debit collections, account validation and electronic document delivery.

Bottomline Technologies provides cloud-based payment, invoice and banking services to corporations, financial institutions and banks. The company’s solutions are used to automate and manage processes involving payments, invoicing, global cash management, supply chain finance and transactional documents.

In recent news, Bottomline Technologies has partnered Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) to launch ANZ Transactive – Mobile, a corporate banking solution that allows ANZ corporate clients to gain enhanced visibility and control of their Australian and New Zealand cash management activities.
