US-based provider of SaaS electronic invoice presentment and payment (EIPP) services Data Impact has achieved re-certification for its EIPP product suite under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) program.

Data Impact’s EIPP suite combines online invoice presentment and payment with an online digital document repository that provides instant access to all the documents related to any invoice.

To ensure compliance with PCI-DSS standards, Data Impact’s security processes and procedures have been subjected to an audit by TrustWave, a Qualified Security Assessor, for accessing their physical, logical, and network infrastructure.

PCI-DSS is a payment card security standard that evaluates payment account data security by assessing the company’s network architecture, software design, security policies, procedures and protective practices. The PCI requirements have been developed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which includes American Express, Discover, JCB International, MasterCard and Visa. The Level 1 status applies to providers who store, process or transmit more than 300,000 transactions annually.
