Dubai-based du, a provider of carrier services for businesses and mobile telephony, broadband connectivity and IPTV services to individuals, has rolled out Auto-Payment, a new service dedicated to bill payment transactions.

Customers need a credit card in order to be able to use the new billing service. The service will automatically charge the users’ credit card on date when bill payment is due. To gain access to Auto-Payment, customers have to login to du’s online Self Care portal and register their credit card for e-billing; alternatively, they can visit any du shop or authorized dealer. The service is available to all post-paid customers including mobile monthly plan, home service and Call Select new and existing customers.

Recently, du has teamed up with seven new banks and five money exchanges to expand the payment of du bills in additional locations. The new financial services providers join an existing network of partner banks that include Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD), Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), Emirates Islamic Bank, Emirates NBD and Mashreq Bank as well as Axiom, fono and One Mobile.
