Fifth Third Bank to deploy MasterCards inControl service for corporate purchasing

US financial services provider Fifth Third Bank has teamed up with MasterCard Worldwide to deploy MasterCard’s inControl service. Under the terms of the agreement, Fifth Third Bank customers can access MasterCard’s Purchase Control from payments management tool.

With MasterCard Purchase Control, Fifth Third Bank will offer corporate clients enhanced global controls and transaction security that combines an integrated preapproval process with secure virtual account numbers.

Also, the integration of the Purchase Control application into existing corporate financial infrastructures aims to enable enhanced transparency through spend controls, administrative tools, as well as enhanced transaction reporting and reconciliation capabilities.

Furthermore, MasterCard Purchase Control provides a flexible environment that enables organizations to optimize their commercial payments programs in a way that provides employees with tools to control spending and allows both employees and suppliers to achieve regulatory compliance.
