German floral retailer joins the Ariba Network

Wednesday 6 March 2013 11:29 CET | News

German floral retailer Fleurop has entered an agreement with US collaborative business commerce and e-invoicing services provider Ariba.

Under the agreement, Fleurop has joined the Ariba Network and has implemented Ariba PunchOut catalogs. As a result of the automated process, Fleurop has enhanced transparency into orders and the invoices associated with them. Purchase order data is transferred to the system at the Fleurop head offices without any integration gaps and sent to the relevant partner store for processing.

Ariba operates the Ariba Network, which provides cloud-based applications, a community of partners through which companies can discover, qualify, connect and collaborate with trading partners as well as other services that are only available to members of the community, such as analytics, financing and ratings.

In recent news, SAP, an enterprise application software provider, has introduced cloud based B2B collaboration solutions in Sri Lanka in partnership with Ariba.
