Under the terms of the agreement, Tradeshift is set to provide its e-invoicing offering to the company’s 36,000 global suppliers with an invoice volume of over 600,000 per year. The name of Tradeshift’s new enterprise partner has not yet been disclosed.
Tradeshift’s business model is based on creating an API platform for free, thus allowing third parties to create other applications, as well as create a network with their suppliers, customers and partners to streamline common business processes.
