UK district general hospital Kingston Hospital NHS Trust has selected UK-based spend control and e-procurement company Proactis for the latter’s suite of cloud eProcurement services for sourcing and contract management, supplier management, management of daily purchase activity, invoice processing and spend visibility.

Under the agreement, the eProcurement services will provide the Trust with a framework of sourcing, contract, catalogue and supplier management functionalities while the purchase-to-pay services will automate and streamline the buying process, from request through authorisation, ordering, invoice processing and payment via Accounts Payable (AP).

Proactis was founded in 1996 as a provider of spend control and e-procurement services. The company provides source-to-contract solutions which allow organisations to automate the buying cycle and purchase-to-pay services which enable organisations to streamline the purchase-to-pay process.

In July 2012, Proactis has launched a spend control benchmarking service for organisations.
