Under the terms of the deal, the airline will use Kofax software to capture, classify and extract data from approximately 2 million paper and electronic invoices it receives annually at more than 55 global locations. The resulting data will then be sent to its central invoice processing centre for validation before being exported into a Microsoft SharePoint-based repository and workflow for further processing and payment.
As a result, the airline will be able to process invoices more efficiently, reducing paper and labour intensive costs and eliminating physical document transport expenses.
