Financial services group Nordea has inked a new contract with US provider of collaborative business commerce services Ariba to deploy the latter’s Ariba Spend Visibility, Ariba Supplier Information Management and Ariba Supplier Performance Management product suites. Nordea already uses the AribaSourcing and Ariba Contract Management services.

Under the terms of the deal, the newly-implemented services are set to enable Nordea consumers to manage their trading relationships. In addition, Nordea is set to employ Ariba’s three products suites to identify opportunities for savings, assess and on board new supply partners, evaluate its supply base and ensure regulatory compliance.

Based on the Ariba Commerce Cloud, these services do not require software, infrastructure or trading partner integration to manage.

Ariba Commerce Cloud is a web-based platform that is enables companies to buy, sell and manage cash. This platform aims to assist companies in saving money on direct and indirect cost and cut operating costs by automating and leaning processes like collaborative procurement, invoicing and payment.
