Pageonce launches P2P payments service

Friday 15 February 2013 10:47 CET | News

US mobile bill payments and personal finance management start-up Pageonce has launched a new person-to-person (P2P) payments service dubbed Pay Anyone.

How it works
Users tap on a button labeled bills to jump to two new options: big biller and small biller. Once a person touches small biller, he can choose whom to pay and enter that persons phone number or email address, along with a message about what the payment is for in order to make a transfer. Then, the user chooses which bank account to use to pay the person. The person getting paid, meanwhile, must enroll in the startups receiver service in order to receive the funds. Currently, customers can only pay from bank to bank.

Pageonce is the company behind the Pageonce - Money & Bills finance app, which enables users to gain visibility into all their financial accounts in one place and access integrated bill payment services.

Pageonce enables its users to automatically track cash, bills, credit cards and investments across multiple accounts. It also provides bill payment functionality through its proprietary payment platform. Supporting thousands of billers, Pageonce sends bill reminders, allows people to pay from any checking account, debit or credit card and also provides bill presentment services.

In recent news, Pageonce has seen the bill pay volumes processed via its proprietary payment platform reach USD 1 million per day.
