Serus, Seeburger partner for hosted supply chain visibility and intelligence service

Serus, a provider of supply chain visibility and intelligence services, and global business integration software provider Seeburger have entered an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partnership to provide hosted supply chain visibility and intelligence services to high-tech companies with outsourced manufacturing operations, including network equipment, computer peripheral, storage and telecom equipment providers.

The partnership is set to combine Serus monitoring and analytics, including supply/demand forecasting to identify and mitigate component shortages with Seeburgers supply chain collaboration functionalities in a joint solution scheduled for Q4 release.

The joint service is set to leverage Seeburgers business integration technology to extend Serus supply chain collaboration functions as well as expedite deployments for Serus users. Hosted in the Seeburger cloud and powered by Seeburger managed services, the solution is set to include Seeburger-driven enhancements providing support for unstructured documents (as well as the previously supported structured supply chain messages), workflow collaboration with both small and large suppliers, a range of standards and protocols (including RosettaNet), integration with any ERP system using pre-built Seeburger adapters and other.

The joint offering is also set to use Seeburgers business integration platform for critical data transmission and transformation functions.

Seeburger is a global provider of business integration and secure managed file transfer (MFT) services. Seeburger serves customers in approximately 50 countries and 15 industries, and has offices in Europe, Asia Pacific and North America.

Serus Corporation orchestrates the extended supply chain. For companies with distributed or outsourced manufacturing operations, Serus services complement a companys existing IT investments with tools and services that synchronize business and manufacturing operations. Serus customers include: AMD, Cypress, Flextronics, Juniper Networks, NVIDIA, PMC Sierra and Qualcomm/Atheros, as well as other providers in the semiconductor and high-technology manufacturing markets.

In recent news, Serus has entered an agreement with Micron Technology (MU), a global manufacturer and marketer of semiconductor devices.
