SIBOS 2010: Tieto rolls out total transaction banking delivery system

Monday 25 October 2010 10:52 CET | News

Tieto, a Finnish IT, e-invoicing and consulting services provider, has launched an integrated payments offering at the Sibos 2010 event which is currently being held in Amsterdam.

The total transaction banking delivery solution has been developed for major international banks as well as smaller finance companies and integrates business messages and connectivity to provide the operational framework to support financial transaction automation systems and services. This includes e-invoicing and e-ordering, making and collecting payments (including both buyer-to-supplier and interbank) and two functional areas for managing personal finances and corporate cash and liquidity.

In September 2010, Tieto and Finnish financial services group Pohjola joined forces to launch a service that enables corporate customers to use Pohjolas payment transfer services via the SWIFT network.
