Simplee goes live with online healthcare bill payment service

Friday 30 September 2011 00:30 CET | News

US healthcare expense management software company Simplee has launched an integrated electronic bill payment service which allows consumers to pay all their medical bills and manage their health insurance plans and expenses via a centralized hub.

Consumers need to create an online account with Simplee, link it to their medical and dental plans, and then connect a debit card or major credit card (including VISA, MasterCard and Discover) to their profile to begin utilizing the online payments service.

The new application features a billing dashboard that combines both the bill from the medical provider and the explanation of benefits (EOB) from the insurance carrier, so that consumers can review and understand what they owe when an insurance claim has been processed.
