South Korea`s Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) has announced changes to its e-procurement system to try to encourage more companies to use the process.

The acquisition agency has unveiled that the e-procurement system - accessed from www.d2b.go.kr - will now give defence companies more time to lodge bids, enhanced flexibility in meeting tender deadlines and additional details about defence tenders.

DAPA has said the changes are intended to increase the use of the e-procurement method and make defence contracting more efficient.
