US financial institution Travis Credit Union has selected financial services technology company Fiserv for its Acumen account processing service and a suite of digital channel solutions.

Under the agreement, the Fiserv implementation is set to include CheckFree RXP and CheckFree Small Business for electronic bills and payments, AML Manager for anti-money laundering detection, management and reporting, Branch Source Capture and Teller Source Capture for real-time deposits, Prologue for financial management and LynxGate for ATM management.

The addition of CheckFree RXP enables consumers and small business members to receive and pay bills on the credit union’s website. Members can schedule payments and keep tabs on their finances with payment reminders and alerts. They can also sign up to receive e-bills delivered via online banking, from companies including utilities, insurers, mobile providers and credit card companies.

Acumen is an account processing platform designed to support commercial accounts, deliver automation tools and embedded commercial capabilities. This service is available via bureau, in-house delivery as well as through a resource management deployment model.

In recent news, Fiserv has inked a deal with global money transfer company MoneyGram to add the latter’s money transfer services to money movement options available to financial institutions and consumers through the Popmoney from Fiserv person-to-person payments product.
