Victorian Government to build an eServices Register on the Ariba Network

Tuesday 13 August 2013 13:44 CET | News

The Victorian State Government in Australia has entered an agreement with US collaborative business commerce and e-invoicing services provider Ariba, a SAP Company, to build an eServices Register on the Ariba Network, a global business-to-business trading platform.

The register is an online self-service portal that Victorian Government Departments and Agencies use to purchase ICT services. Suppliers looking to do business with State Government can register and create profiles that outline their services and capabilities.

To power the portal, the Victorian Government is set to leverage the Ariba Network and the cloud-based applications delivered on it, including Ariba Sourcing On-Demand and Ariba Supplier Information Management.

In recent news, US services provider for the pharmaceutical industry CALL has integrated its accounting system with the Ariba Network.
