Two of Indias largest mobile operators, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone have rolled out campaigns aimed at encouraging subscribers to choose electronic billing, indianexpress.com reports.

The same source indicates that Vodafone has rolled out the “Bill Not Print” campaign, encouraging consumers to give up receiving their mobile phone bills in paper format and via mail, opting instead for the company’s e-billing scheme. In its turn, Bharti Airtel has also expressed its intention to lower paper consumption by promoting its recently launched e-billing services.

Both companies provide a series of incentives for consumers signing up for their e-billing programs.
