VOSS Water selects Palette for invoice management solution

Wednesday 17 July 2013 10:16 CET | News

Norwegian bottled water company VOSS Water is set to deploy an advanced cloud-based invoice management solution from Palette, a Swedish provider of enterprise purchase-to-pay and automated processing of supplier invoices, to further streamline invoice handling and enhance efficiency across its international operations.

Under the agreement, VOSS will use PaletteOnline to automate checking, authorisation and processing of invoices it receives annually to create a paperless processing and archiving system across its organisation.

As PaletteOnline is a cloud solution, it enables staff who are authorised to approve invoices to access their workflow from smartphones or any device with an internet connection. This simplifies accounts payable processes and eliminates the paper-trail between offices, enabling staff to check, approve and produce reports on their invoice workflow from almost any location.

Paper documents and e-invoices received at the company’s Norwegian and US-based offices will be scanned and sent to Readsoft OnLine. The invoices will then uploaded to PaletteOnline and placed in the workflow of the appropriate person for approval. When fully authorised, the invoices will be fed into VOSS Water’s Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP system and scheduled for payment.

PaletteOnline will replace VOSS Water’s current invoice management product, with implementation beginning over summer 2013. VOSS Water also plans to trial the use of the PaletteBuyer purchasing management and PaletteExpense modules, to help further automate its financial operations.

In recent news, Palette has appointed outsourced document processing specialist e-Docs UK as a Gold Partner to further extend its UK market presence.
