Yahoo to provide e-billing service to Hong Kong firms

Yahoo has reportedly inked contracts with several Hong Kong companies, in a bid to offer its Yahoo! Mail e-billing service, media outlet telecomasia.net reports.

According to the source, Yahoo has allegedly entered partnerships with a number of Honk Kong-based firms, including IT and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider PCCW, financial institution Standard Chartered Bank Hong Kong and and telecommunications company Hong Kong Broadband.

Under the terms of the deal, Yahoo is expected to offer its e-billing service to assist these companies in the conversion of 40 million paper bills into electronic bills, the source reports.
