Online invoicing services provider company Zoho has integrated its Zoho Invoice online invoicing application with PayPal Business Payments on the PayPal X open global payments platform.

The move s set to allow Zoho Invoice users to invoice and receive payments from their customers while paying a transaction fee of USD 0.50 per payment—associated with PayPal’s Business Payments pricing for payments funded by PayPal balance or eCheck. The pilot is currently underway and open to developers who sign up on x.com. The PayPal X open global payments platform is expected to become generally available in 2011.

Among its features, Zoho Invoice allows users accept online payments from their customers. Zoho Invoice currently uses PayPal’s new Adaptive Payments API. Like the rest of the PayPal community, Zoho Invoice users are set to continue to pay two to five percent of the invoice total when a customer makes a PayPal payment using a credit card.
