360Buy to expand into online games

Chinese online business-to-consumer (B2C) retailer 360Buy has revealed plans to expand its business operations to include online games, media outlet Yahoo News unveils.

The new expansion is still in progress and is set to be tested starting with September 2012.

According to the source, the first launch will include about four to six games on its platform. However, the company has not revealed yet the type of games that will be experimenting with (mobile, browser-based, MMOs, etc).

The company states that the new operations will change the current system of payment collection. According to 360Buy, currently 70 percent of its payment comes only after users have received their goods.
